Our Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!

I left work Friday at noon (we get half-day off for Good Friday) and spent the rest of the afternoon with Kendra. We went to eat chinese and went shopping. It was much needed time with my best friend! I hadn't seen her in a while and we had a great time as always. That night, Jon and I went to Pizza Hut. I think it was the first time I had been to a pizza joint, where no one ordered pizza :) I stuck with the salad bar and Jon ordered pasta. We grabbed a couple of movies at Blockbuster, went home, and fell asleep before watching anything. We were both exhausted!

Saturday night, Jon and I went to mass with Patty and Donnie here in Yukon. It was by far the longest mass any of us had been too. We left after about 2 1/2 hours, and it was still going on! The message was good - of course. It was the Easter message!!! Jesus has risen! Afterwards, we went to Liz and Bernie's to say hi. Henry sat with me and told me all about his day.

Sunday - Jon had to work. I called my mom and dad in Texas to see what their plans were. I was sad that we weren't there this weekend, but it was good to talk to them. I'm planning to take a trip down there in a couple of weeks...that'll be fun! I went to Walmart to pick up some things for the Easter dinner at Liz and Bernie's. I bought a cute little stuffed animal and toy for Jondice. I couldn't resist :) When Jon got off work - we went to Liz and Bernie's for the Easter cookout. Pork tenderloin. Yum!

Now, I'm nearly out of the first trimester!!! Can't believe how time flies!

PS - Barkley is better now. And, Gasso is the least favorite pet. All is right in the world.
