Ramblings....

Ok, so someone flipped me off on my way to work today (an older lady in the passenger seat of a Lexus). Not even sure why, except maybe she was upset I was going my usual 5 over the speed limit and she wanted to go 30 over? Who knows. What a way to start off the morning!

A few of us at work have started couponing and I'm saving a TON of money - on things I buy on a regular basis. In past, I've tried couponing, but always end up buying things I normally wouldn't - resulting in spending more than I intend :) Now that I am understanding how to work the sales, etc - I am actually a bit upset with myself that I didn't start this sooner! It's extra work, but the savings has been worth it so far. I've got some favorite couponing blogs I enjoy reading on the right-hand side of my blog - if you're interested in checking it out.

Here's a fun picture of Sam that his Aunt Liz took at her house - I love this little guy so much!!!

OH! Two more things:

1. My friend Jennifer and her kiddos are collecting sock donations for her church's Mexico Mission trip in the fall. You should check it out - Socks Project!

2. I've added a subscription link on the upper left-hand side of our blog if you would like to subscribe to us by email. I'm not even really sure this works yet, but give it a try!

I dig using coupons at Homeland - they double coupons up to a dollar so between that and the Homeland savings card you can save a ton of dough!

thanks for the shout out on the socks project! We used your gift card yesterday and got loads! I'm addicted to coupons myself and a few weeks ago I got two bag fulls of groceries (about 9 items) for $1.50...now if that doesn't kick rear I don't know what does!!! I was on a coupon high...if that's possible!
